I recently researched and consulted on a BBC Radio Wales programme all about the Welsh iconic song Calon Lan, and Daniel James, the man who wrote the lyrics.

Produced by the wonderful Telesgop producer Ffion Rees, the story of how the song came to be a favourite for chapels, recordings, weddings, funerals and the rugby terraces included interviews with Beverley Humphries, Mal Pope, Tim Rhys-Evans and Daniel James’ Great-Granddaughter Elizabeth Parker.

You can listen to the programme here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000rx1q on BBC Sounds.
