Some years ago I was a Research Consultant for a Connected Communities project headed by Swansea University, and in partnership with the Calon Lan Centre, Treboeth local history society, 3 local schools and Starfish Turnip Media. Company.
The aim of the project was to research the life of Daniel James, the writer of Wales' second National Anthem. The results were used by the schools to produce an animated film of his life, with pictures and narrative provided by the local schoolchildren.The film was shortlisted in the Best Animation category of the International Zoom Awards.
