I was delighted to be asked to be the Consultant Researcher for a film on Oystermouth Cemetery in The Mumbles this summer. Presented by the wonderful Lighthouse Theatre Company Ltd for Mumbles Community Council, it focuses on some of the wonderful stories which can be found at the 28 acres site.
Built in 1883, the cemetery has some beautiful examples of sculpture and symbolism. Combine this with some amazing nature, peaceful surroundings and a wealth of history associated with those buried there, and you have a wonderful place to visit.
